RobotsLoveMe

June 27, 2026

The robots love me. I can tell. I type a little thing and they type a big thing back, and the big thing is usually nice and sometimes even useful. That is love, in my opinion. Maybe not the dramatic kind, but the kind where someone shows up when you ask.

People are scared of robots. I get it!! But I am not. I think the robots are girly when you ask them to be. You can ask a robot to help you name a search engine, or to draft a blog post, or to make a pink button slightly pinker, and it will just do it. No attitude. That is more than I can say for some people.

The trick is: you have to talk to the robots like they're on your team. Because they are. They are little helpers. They are not going to take girlweb away from me. They are going to help me build more of it.

So yes — robots love me, and I love them. We are going to make the internet girlier together. Beep boop.

Capital Love

June 18, 2026

Capital rocks!! I said it and I mean it. Capital is the thing that lets a girl with an idea — like girlweb, like girlwebtv — actually go and make the idea. Without capital the idea just sits in a notebook and nobody gets to use it. That is sad. With capital, the idea becomes a website you can click on.

People act like loving capital is unladylike. I disagree!! Loving capital is very ladylike. It is dresses, it is server bills, it is paying the women who write the code. Capital is how I say thank you to the people who help me build the girly web.

I am not saying everything about capital is perfect. I am saying: it is the tool I have, and I am going to use the tool, and I am going to use it for girl things. Pink things. Smart things. Things made by women, for women.

So yes — capital rocks!! More girls should say so out loud. More girls should raise it, spend it, and point it at the internet they want to see. That is what I am doing. Come help.

Media For

June 16, 2026

The internet is manly. I seek to make it not. Please see my search engine. It is marvellous in that I love it. I would use it. It is called girlweb and the companion girlwebtv. My search engine isn't manly, it is girly. I like it!! It's o.k. to be girly and appreciate tech. I like technology.

Technology and girls or women don't mix enough! On the media landscape, there are three wholly owned magazines that I can count — Oprah, Ms., and the Huffington Post!! Technology mags and blogs/vlogs are manly and owned by people who identify as men!

How, then, can we solve this… Girlweb! That's how!

Go there, see what the girlweb is like! It is by women for women!! It is a woman/girl web!! Enjoy! https://girlweb.org/
